Wedding and Such

My good friend Stephen was married yesterday. I am so excited for him. He has been an awesome friend for a long time. We have known each other since kindergarten but didn't become friends until highschool. For some reason we didn't like each other in middle school. We were on a youth trip and were making fun of each other...I cried. Funny where things can turn up, now he is my best friend. I was able to be his best man in the wedding and hope I did as good of a job as he did for me. I will be praying for Stephen and Lindsey Wolfe and hope you will too. Allison and I are still in Florida where the wedding was and my family is down here too. We went to Daytona last night and played an intense game of miniature golf and we are headed to St. Augustine today. It should prove to be a lot of fun.

Chuck Norris doesn't have a chin...

A lot of information is out there on the internet about Chuck Norris.  I have to admit, he's one of my all time favorite actors.  I remember my dad and brothers and I being so excited about walker texas ranger coming on each week.  And I loved the movie Sidekicks also starring Chuck.  He recently endorsed republican candidate, Mike Huckabee during the campaigning season and even traveled with Huckabee to get the word out.  Chuck is also known to be a believer in Christ.  All that said, I found this site today chucknorrisfacts.com.  I had heard about it but just recently went to it to see all the fun things said about Mr. Norris.  Just thought I would share it.

PS - My favorite Chuck Norris fact is ...  Chuck Norris doesn't have a chin behind his beard, only another fist.

Contend for the truth

I thought you might like to hear a sermon I preached in an adult meeting at New Georgia Baptist Church from the book of Jude.
