Hello All

Well, i've decided to start a new, personal blogger in order to write a daily thought on being married in 144 days. When this period is over, I plan to us this address to blog about theological things, Biblical truths, personal encounters, and much much more.

For right now I want to write of things I am doing in order to prepare to be the most awesome husband ever.

Yesterday- Allison and her mom, Barbara (still don't know what to call her yet), went to meet with the caterer. We have now booked her and are moving to the next step which will be florist and invitations. I have enjoyed this whole process! I decided not to go yesterday so that Allison and her mom could do some things together. Mrs. Barbara is so sweet and I look forward to her being my new mother in law. Did I mention that I am excited about being married very soon, if not, I meant to. I am in the process of getting all of the addresses together for all those I will be inviting.

Well, my thought today on engaged life is, though married life sounds so much fun and I caannot wait, this time of engaged life should be used to find even more out about Allison. We must enjoy this season before we move to the next. We live in such a high paced society that people are always moving to the next thing before the first thing is over. Sure, its not bad to be planned (I have really become more planned lately) but we mustn't be so anxious about the next thing that we do not enjoy the first. I therefore, vow to savor each moment as one who is engaged, seeking to find what things the Lord wants me to learn during this time.

I suggest that in your life, whatever it is that you do and get anxious about, don't forget to savor the thing you're doing at that moment. Pause and ask the Lord each moment what? Remember, each moment of life is orchestrated by God almighty, what would he have you take with you for all of life?
