Change

Well it has been quite some time since I have posted and for that I am very sorry.  I have been up to my neck in school, BBQ sale, everyday stuff, etc.  It has been good, just busy.  Allison and I enjoy one another's company more than ever.  The most exciting news I have is that I will be graduating May 15th of this year with my Master of Divinity Degree from Luther Rice Seminary.  This has been a long journey and A rewarding one but I am glad it is soon over (for a time).  I am only taking a break for a few years and then I would like to get a Master of Arts in Christian Education so I can feel better equipped to serve the church as a minister to children and their families.

It seems many things are changing (very quickly).  I'm not sure i've experienced a lot of change in my life but it all seems to be coming at once.  It goes to show that the only constant thing is Christ.  He never changes, He always remains the same.  He is a rock to cling to when all else seems to be washed away.

Some of the change is exciting.  For one, to think I could be a dad in a year or two is really exciting.  I have been looking forward to that since I was a kid.  However, some change is eye opening.  It goes to show that nothing is guaranteed in life except the truth of Christ and His love.

Above all I am blessed and joyful because of who Christ is and how He has changed my life and continues to do so.  My greatest plea is an echo of what John the Baptist said about Jesus..."He must increase, I must decrease." John 3:30.
